It was a snowy day in Ottawa this morning necessitating the whole spectrum of snow removal equipment and the inevitable delays in traffic.
However, before starting with our final preparations, Bill was able to sneak into Theresa's room to steal this picture of Sleeping Beauty. She had been fussing in her sleep and I popped in to her room to check on her. I was able to take the picture through the bars of the crib with my phone. The light coming in from the hall provided the perfect light.
Afterwards, of course there were various things to do getting everything ready. Theresa, of course, was an active participant in the process helping Grandma Richmond organize her bags.
We've been fortunate to go on the tour with Richelle's parents, Lorie and Richard O'Reilly. Here's a picture of the Grandparents Four.
I need to close now before we go through security. I'll add more before the flight if possible.
Later
There were some issues with security and we left Toronto about 1-1/2 hours late. The layout of the EL AL Boeing 787 aircraft was 3 - 3 - 3 across in our section of the plane, right over the wing. No matter how you slice it, 12 hours in our seats is not something to really look forward to. On the other hand, they serve a nice hot meal and the in-flight entertainment is very good.
Here's a picture of the layout of the aircraft. We were seated in 22J and 22K on the right hand side of the aircraft.
